Gully Cricket Game
DESCRIPTION:
Gully cricket is an informal, street version of the game played passionately in the narrow lanes, empty plots, or open spaces of neighborhoods, especially in countries like India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. It thrives on creativity and improvisation, with rules often made up on the spot, wickets fashioned from bricks or school bags, and boundaries defined by walls, trees, or parked vehicles. Played with tennis balls or any available substitute, gully cricket captures the raw spirit of the sport, fostering community bonding, friendly rivalries, and a deep love for the game from a very young age.
